Our Priorities Change, but Our Focus on the Arts Remains

The CT Arts Alliance — along with our supporters, funders, and donors — understand that legislative support is essential to maintaining a vibrant arts and cultural scene in Connecticut. It is also crucial to our organization's survival. We maintain a visible and vocal presence during the legislative session on behalf of our members.

During this year’s legislative session, the Arts Alliance will focus on:

  1. Thanking legislators for supporting the arts community in the FY 22/23 State Budget. Use our campaign link to send a quick note to your legislators.
  2. Mobilizing the membership when legislative opportunities and challenges arise
  3. Telling our stories to legislators to make the case for our contributions to the state’s economy, our community life and the wellbeing of our residents.
  4. Building a strong statewide network of arts advocates to increase attention on the importance of the arts community and the need for responsive arts policy.
